COSMOTRONICS

Under the guidance of artist Harry Arling from Holland, the children build a vehicle, a house or a spaceship out of plastic waste. The imagination knows no limits. With his cosmotronics suite and helmet, Harry Arling encourages children to create structures large and small while also thinking about recycling plastics and other waste materials. But the most important thing is to have fun.

What is life on planet earth? what is beautiful on earth Where is life good, where is it rather uncomfortable? How do people live, how do animals and other beings live? Are other worlds imaginable? During a visit to the youth library on the market, the children can be inspired to realize their very own picture ideas in the hase29 studio using a wide variety of artistic techniques.

The children travel into space together with the artists Susanne Heitmann and Henriette Uhlhorn and tell their stories in moving pictures. How it works? With their favorite cuddly toy, they first embark on a fantasy journey and get in the mood with a visit to the planetarium. They capture the view into space with the camera in order to later let their little friend fly to distant galaxies in a self-made spaceship in the hase29 studio.

It is painted, drawn and sets are built. As in a film studio, the images are then put together on the computer to form a story. The children also make a picture book using the Japanese bookbinding technique.
