How do we deal with a constantly changing world?
As part of the exhibition “I WAS BORN IN A JAR FULL OF RASPBERRY JAM”, David Rauer and SE Struck (SEE!Kollektiv) transform the art space hase29 into a walk-in multimedia room installation that opens up new perspectives on a present in permanent change.
The exhibition focuses on the ever-changing connections between people, things, ideas, media, and the environment. These relationships shape the spatial structure of the installation and unfold in diverse artistic forms of expression such as sculpture, sound, video, text, and performance.
SE Struck works physically and mostly site-specifically with performers. Everything arises in the immediate moment, constantly changes, and then dissipates. David Rauer develops organic sculptures for this purpose, which become tangible spatial interventions for the audience. Through the interplay of ephemeral performance and expansive sculpture, it becomes palpable how connections are formed, transformed, and dissolved.
Visitors are invited to move freely within the space, to interact with the sculptures, or to linger among them. The paths through the installation lead into a network of transitions, where orientation is just as possible as the deliberate act of getting lost.
