KUNSTFORUM International invited experts from the German art association landscape to talk together about the institution "art association". The focus was on the question of what role art associations play in the German cultural landscape and how they can develop in the future.

The publicist, art critic and guest editor for KUNSTFORUM International, Sabine B. Vogel, moderated the discussion. Her guests were the new chairwoman of the ADKV (Working Group of German Art Associations), Ursula Schöndeling, Rebekka Seubert from the Dortmund Art Association, Christoph Platz-Gallus from the Hanover Art Association, Katharina Klang and Victoria Tarak from the Bielefeld Art Association and the artistic director of the hase29 art space in Osnabrück, Jasmina Janoschka.
