Eva Grüter created large-format charcoal and eraser drawings on her international travels into nature. Using charcoal gathered from nearby fires, she drew abstract fragments as subjective impressions of the place on long sheets of paper. The interplay of applying and erasing reveals the drawing process. Landscapes become travel companions and repositories of memory.
