A good journey always consists of detours. We encounter giraffes with mohawks and cardboard ghosts escaping logistics. Along the way, artists Joost-Henrik Becker and Azim F. Becker blend reality with a mix of graphic novels, urban art, expressionism, and comics. Their whimsical imagery and characters always contain an emotion—sometimes hidden, sometimes overtly obvious. A strange path calls for a strange drawing, and so does an emotional path.

The project "Hase29 in der Halle," which marks its twelfth anniversary with this exhibition, is a collaboration between the hase29 art space and OsnabrückHalle/Marketing Osnabrück GmbH. The exhibition series regularly presents works by Osnabrück artists in the foyer of the OsnabrückHalle.
